Gilberto Freyre - Brazil's Interpreter

Museu da Língua Portuguesa (Portuguese Language Museum) is now showing Gilberto Freyre – Brazil’s Interpreter. The exhibition shows to public various faces and the creative process of the writer and political scientist. Gilberto Freyre was born in 1900, in Recife city, and died 20 years ago. He is considered one of the most important Brazilian writers. It is a great opportunity for younger public to know his amazing work. The exhibition was realized by Secretary of Culture of São Paulo State, Museu da Língua Portuguesa and Instituto Brasil Leitor and had Fundação Gilberto Freyre support.
